The artistic producer, sometimes simply called producer, is responsible for the artistic and technical production of a recording project, from inception to mastering.
His traditional role is to select recording studios and book the necessary time slots, accompany and guide performers, and direct recording and mixing sessions.
Role and tasks of the Artistic Director/Producer
This person is at the center of the entire musical project, with technical, artistic, commercial and relational knowledge. He or she will find an artist and guide him or her from the song idea to the production of a marketable product.
He chooses the musicians who will accompany the artist, the technical team, the recording studios, etc.
