Erasmus+ at ESRA
The Erasmus+ program aims to support lifelong learning within the European Union. To this end, Erasmus+ provides financial support in the form of grants to promote equal opportunities and access, as well as inclusion and diversity across all of its activities. Compliance with the Erasmus+ grant funding rules ensures that applications are treated fairly.

Erasmus+ study mobility
Description
Students can study abroad, both in Europe and internationally. They can participate in the Erasmus+ program, regardless of their discipline, level of study, or degree . This study degree is recognized for the degree in France.
Who can leave?
All students enrolled at ESRA, including those in the international programs.
How do I participate in a study abroad program?
Study abroad programs are available starting in the second year of study at ESRA, preferably during the fall semester.
Please note: Most universities have a specific application timeline that must be followed in order to study abroad at their institution.
- Applications must be submitted by mid-April for exchange programs during the fall semester
- Applications must be submitted by early or mid-October for exchange programs taking place during the spring semester
Step 1: You need to identify the program you’re interested in and the application deadlines listed on the university’s website (typically mid-April for the fall semester and mid-October for the spring semester).
As soon as you have this information, please contact your academic or international advisor at ESRA.
- If ESRA is a partner of the target university (see the list of partners in the drop-down menu), the confirmation process can be fairly quick (subject to available funding).
- If the ESRA is not a partner of the target university, you must allow for the time required (ranging from several weeks to several months) to establish contact and reach a partnership agreement.
Your Erasmus+ exchange is a major undertaking that should be planned at least 6 months to a year in advance. Choose a host institution that aligns with your expectations and academic program to make this exchange a defining moment in your studies.
You can ask your coordinator, your director, or the ESRA international relations department for more information.
How long does an Erasmus+ mobility program last?
Duration of Erasmus+ mobility: 2 to 12 months maximum per study cycle.
Shorter physical mobility periods, lasting between 5 and 30 days, are possible if combined with virtual activities. These are known as hybrid mobility programs.

This virtual component can, for example, bring together learners from different countries and different fields of study to take courses online or work collectively and simultaneously on tasks that are recognized as part of their study program.
Duration: hybrid mobility programs last between 5 and 30 days (excluding travel days).
