The Sound Designer creates the sound identity of various environments.
The sound designer edits and manipulates sound elements for media such as video games, film, animation or any other medium in which sound is used (podcast) to enhance the overall user experience.
The sound designer's role and missions
He works with the director to create sounds that do not exist in nature (e.g. the scream of the T-Rex in Jurassic Park). He must be able to synthesize a sound while integrating artistic constraints and the director's intentions. He or she can create these sounds from scratch, using analog or digital synthesizers, or by combining existing sounds.
The sound designer can also create sound identities for brands, radio or the Internet.
