For this film, Vianney LEBASQUE was accompanied by 3 ESRA alumni; Lucie LLOPIS (ESRA 2015) Casting assistant, Jean-Cristophe MULLER (ESRA 2013) Third assistant director, Olivier BORDE (ISTS 2008) Dubbing boom operator.
Vianney LEBASQUE studied editing at ESRA in 2002. Following this training, he shot and edited 4 short films, including "Unza Unza", which won first prize in a competition organized by Publicis in 2007. He was then spotted on the Internet directing making-of films, including the one for the TV series "Bref".
"Les Petits Princes" is his first feature film, which he co-wrote and directed alongside screenwriter Mathieu GOMPEL in 2013. This French comedy-drama immerses viewers in the world of training centers for young footballers, starring Reda KATEB, Eddy MITCHELL and Paul BARTEL (nominated at the 2014 Césars in the Best New Male Talent category),
In 2016, in collaboration with Joris MORIO and Victor RODENBACH, he wrote and directed seasons 1 and 2 of the TV series "Les Grands", for the OCS bouquet. It received 3 awards at the La Rochelle TV Fiction Festival in 2016, best 26-minute series, best female hopeful for Adèle WISMES and the Poitou Charentes region's youth prize. Vianney LEBASQUE is also president of the jury for the 6th edition of the Tous En Short short film festival dedicated to students. In 2018, he released his third feature film on the theme of sport and disability , Chacun pour tous.
In 2020, he co-directs the film "Selfie", starring Blanche GARDIN, Manu PAYET, Elsa ZYLBERSTEIN and Finnegan OLDFIELD.
