For a school that trains students in the fields of film, sound, and animation, the Louvre Museum is much more than just a place to visit. What the Society of Friends of the Louvre Offers
The Société des Amis du Louvre is a nonprofit organization recognized as serving the public interest that has been helping to enrich the museum’s collections since 1897. Becoming a member means both supporting this mission of collective patronage and enjoying tangible benefits:
- 12 months of free, no-reservation access to the Louvre Museum, including temporary exhibitions

Who is eligible?
This offer is open to all students and staff of the ESRA Group, regardless of campus. Two membership categories are available: a “Youth” membership, reserved for those under 26, and a “Member” membership. In both cases, the partner rate is lower than the public rate.
Good to know: Residents of the European Union aged 18–25 already enjoy free admission to the Louvre Museum when they reserve a time slot for their visit. Membership in the Friends of the Louvre also provides access without a reservation, admission to temporary exhibitions, and benefits reserved for members.
How can you take advantage of this?
Membership can be purchased directly online on the Friends of the Louvre website using an ESRA-specific partner code. This code is sent to students and staff via email and is available on the school’s intranet. It is not made publicly available.
A few things to know before signing up:
- Membership obtained using a partner code cannot be modified during the year (change of category or addition of an option).
- It does not result in the issuance of a tax receipt
- If you are renewing your membership, you must log in using the email address you used when you first signed up.
- The "Double" and "Family" options are not available as part of the partnership
