On Monday April 5, he was welcomed in Nice by Thierry COLLARD, Director of ESRA Côte d'Azur, and Nathalie GATTO, teacher, Production Manager and Artistic Director.
During his first talk, the campus students discovered a lecture divided into four phases: Thibault GAURIAU 's beginnings to the present day, the preparation of Jurassic World, post-production on Rogue One, and asked questions about his career path that every special effects enthusiast would dream of having.
To round off his visit, Thibault GAURIAU travelled to Rennes on Friday April 6, the campus where he studied 12 years earlier. Mr. Alain BIENVENU, Director of ESRA Bretagne, welcomed the former student to the Rennes amphitheatre to the applause of the teaching staff. In particular, Thibault GAURIAU underlined his attachment to Claire PERIGAULT and Philippe RUVERON, who taught his classes when he was at Rennes. Professor Olivier DESSALLES, Gall LE GARREC, Pedagogical Coordinator, and many other teachers were present at his masterclass, as well as former students from different classes.

The students were inquisitive. The lecture was clear, precise and professional, earning the thanks of the entire ESRA Bretagne team for his contribution to the school. The relevance and accuracy of his comments, the wealth of his professional experience, and the humanism that emerged from his analyses enthralled the audience, who wished him all the best for the future!
