On Tuesday, April 3, 2018, we had the pleasure of welcoming Khalil CHANINE, who came with a double artist label as part of the ISTS Tuesdays.
Khalil CHANINE began his career as a guitarist with Jacques DUTRONC, then Michel LEGRAND, Diane DUFRESNE... and continues to work as a freelance composer and musical arranger, as well as for film soundtracks such as The Governor's Ball by Marie-France PISIER, Monsieur Batignole by Gérard JUGNOT and Mariage mixte byAlexandre ARCADY.
He also released seven albums between 1990 and 2014: Mektoub, Turkoise, Hekma, Opake, Baktus, Noun and Kairos.
On the occasion of his visit, the artist spoke to us about his work as a composer and his role on the SACEM verification commission.
