On March 27, as part of the DHEC - Département des Hautes Etudes Cinématographiques - students in the Screenwriting/Directing and Production/Distribution departments took part in a masterclass with Gilles BOURDOS, director of the film " Espèces menacées ". He shared with the students the genesis of the film script co-written with Michel SPINOSA, based on the collection of short stories "Espèces menacées" by the American Richard BAUSCH. He also spoke about his relationship with directing, and his work with cinematographer Mark LEE PING BING and music director Alexandre DESPLAT. He ended with a look at the acting and his work with the film's actors, including Alice ISAAZ, Eric ELMOSNINO and Grégory GADEBOIS in the lead roles.
The film is produced by Les Films du Lendemain and distributed by Mars. It will be released in cinemas on July 12, 2017.
Synopsis:
Three intertwined family destinies. Joséphine and Tomaz have just been happily married. But soon, behind their sunny happiness, Joséphine's parents discover a darker reality.
