The ESRA Group's Research Department, headed by José MOURE, met on Tuesday November 21, 2023 for a third "Diffuser " study day on the theme of "Making cinema in the age of series".

Entitled "DIFFUSER", the study day focused on the challenges of exploitation and distribution. Introduction by François HURARDInspector General of Cultural Affairs at the French Ministry of Culture.
The first round table was moderated by Caroline PIRASProducer, on the challenges of exhibition with : Stéphane GOUDET, Artistic Director of the Méliès cinema and Senior Lecturer at Paris 1, Corinne HONLIASSO, Director of the Balzac cinema, Patrice LE MARCHAND, Director of the UGC Ciné Les Halles cinema and Bertrand ROGERProgrammer, Mk2 cinemas.
Followed by a second round-table discussion on broadcasting with Henri DENEUBOURG, Director of Film and Series Productions, and Éric LAGESSE, Chairman and CEO of Pyramide, Ariane TOSCAN DU PLANTIERDistribution Director, Gaumont, Olivier WOTLING, former Fiction Director, Arte, now Producer, Mintee Studio.
The next study day, entitled "TRANSMETTRE", will take place in 2024.
