The ESRA Group's Research Department, headed by José MOURE, met on Wednesday April 19, 2023 for a second "Produce " study day on the theme of "Making cinema in the era of series".

The ESRA Group Research Department consists of :

▪︎Erwan CADORET, PhD in cinema and cinema and audiovisual teacher at ESRA Bretagne.

▪︎Cyril LAVERGER, Film and audiovisual teacher

▪︎Christophe LEMOINE, Actor and Screenwriter

▪︎José MOURE, Director of ESRA's Research Department; Professor of Film Studies at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.

▪︎Caroline PIRAS, Producer

▪︎Caroline RENOUARD, Lecturer in film studies at the University of Lorraine

▪︎Géraldine SFEZ, Lecturer in film studies at the University of Lille

Entitled "PRODUIRE", the study day focused on the challenges of film production and development in the era of series. Introduction by Caroline PIRAS and Géraldine SFEZHistory and challenges of production by René BONNELL, author and producer, followed by a meeting with Éric LAVAINEdirector and screenwriter.

The first round table was moderated by Jean-Jacques JAUFFRETDirector of ESRA Paris, and Nicole COLLET, Producer, Image & Compagnie, Florence GASTAUDProducer, WildBunch, Myriam GHARBIProducer, OBERKAMPF production, Mediawan group, Jean-Luc ORMIÈRESProducer, Cinéfrance Studios and Paul ROZENBERGProducer, Zagid Productions.
Followed by a second round-table discussion on the production of The Three Musketeers: D'Artagnan, moderated by Caroline RENOUARDwith Matthieu PRADAExecutive Producer, Chapter 2), Loraine ROCHE-TANGUY, Production Coordinator, Olivier CAUWETVFX Supervisor and Stéphane TAILLASSONproduction designer.

The next study day, entitled "DIFFUSER", will take place at the end of 2023.
