It has to be said that the questions were very numerous. While they covered a wide range of topics, the evening was largely devoted to the film's adventure. It has to be said that the film screened, Harem, was one of those that left a lasting impression. It's a unique case, in fact, of a major production with international ambitions, with established Anglo-Saxon stars...(Ben Kingsley, Nastassja Kinski) being entrusted to a first-time filmmaker, who at the time had only made short films. This was not without consequences on the set, as the filmmaker's freedom was sometimes curtailed. But this didn't stop Arthur Joffé from making other, less costly films, and therefore freer.
