Casting Sauvage, directed by Galaad HEMSI (ESRA 2002), was released on February 11.
Pitch: "One day Rémi learns that his hitherto unknown father lives on the other side of France. He decides to go and meet him on his moped."
Casting sauvage is a documentary, but it's also a fiction; a kind of road movie, the Air Movie. 80 actors, no set, just two cameras and a concept: tell the story of a character, Rémi, played by 80 different actors in a casting room.
ESRA Côte d'Azur, in collaboration with Nice's Mercury cinema, organized a screening of this film on February 25, with the director in attendance.
