As part of the Aventure d'Un Long Métrage program, we were delighted to welcome Yannick KERGOAT, editor of the film "Espèces menacées" directed by Gilles BOURDOS (2016).
Yannick KERGOAT, editor of Cédric KLAPISCH's "Ni pour ni contre bien au contraire", Rachid BOUCHAREB's "Indigènes" (2006) and Costa-Gavras's "Eden" (2007), was on hand for a fruitful discussion with students from the DHEC - Département des Hautes Etudes Cinématographiques, Costa-Gavras for "Eden à l'ouest" (2008), or Dominik MOLL for "Harry, un ami qui vous veut du bien", discussed his vision of the editor's craft, as well as the relationship between editing and script, the role of technical cutting and acting.
L'Aventure d'un Long Métrage is a series of masterclasses held in the two DHECs Scénario/Réalisation and Production Distribution, in M1 and M2, in which the various heads of a film in post-production, due for release during the course of the year, take turns.
