Another Accolade for ESRA Paris
After reviewing the materials submitted by the school, the RECA Accreditation Committee decided to grant its accreditation to ESRA Paris for a maximum period of five years.
This recognition highlights the quality of the work carried out by the teaching staff and the campus's commitment to training future professionals in the field of animated film.
In particular, it highlights a curriculum with a strong practical focus, support for students throughout their academic journey, and a commitment to providing transparent information to prospective students and their families.
The RECA Label: A Guide for Prospective Students
Founded in 2012, RECA (Network of French Animation Film Schools) is a nonprofit organization under the French Law of 1901 recognized as being of public interest. It brings together some 30 French animation schools and more than 70 Programs.
One of its goals is to make the range of training programs more transparent in a constantly evolving sector and to promote collaboration between educational institutions and professionals in the field of entertainment.
Supported by the National Center for Cinema and the Moving Image (CNC) as well as several professional organizations in the sector, including the Union of Animation Film Producers (SPFA) and the Federation of the Film, Audiovisual, and Multimedia Industries (FICAM), the RECA Label serves as a guide for students and their families when choosing a career path, particularly on Parcoursup.
Concrete commitments for the Paris campus
Earning the RECA certification is based on various criteria that are regularly monitored. Through this certification, ESRA Paris commits, in particular, to:
- provide transparent and standardized information about its Programs, their costs, operating hours, staff, and results achieved;
- ensure that admission requirements are clearly communicated to applicants and their families;
- provide information that accurately reflects the reality of the Programs ;
- ensure that courses remain aligned with developments and expectations in the professional sector;
- continue its efforts to promote student well-being, combat discrimination and violence, and foster an environmentally responsible approach.
This certification is part of an ongoing monitoring process: the RECA certification must be maintained through continued compliance with these various commitments.
