Founded in 1972, ESRA's mission is to offer Programs of excellence in film, sound and animation.

In initial training, they are recognized by the French government and award state-approved diplomas at Bac+3 and Bac+5 levels. With a strong international outlook, the school is part of the ERASMUS+ program and offers these Programs in English.

In Professional Training, the school offers a full range of Programs , from retraining modules to hardware and software certification, as well as high-level Programs for industry experts through its DIXIT Programs department.

Its alumni include 47 César, 1 Oscar and 2 Grammy Award nominations, as well as films directed by alumni selected for the Cannes Film Festival and the Venice Film Festival, among others.

ESRA is developing an academic model that is resolutely open to Europe and the world. International development is a strategic priority, through welcoming foreign students and building lasting partnerships with international academic establishments, institutions, and networks.

The International Relations Department (IRD) embodies this strategic priority.

MISSIONS OF THE DRI

The International Relations Department is responsible for defining, steering, and implementing the institution's international strategy. It plays a central role in developing international cooperation, academic mobility, and the institution's influence abroad, thus contributes to its influence and attractiveness.

This activity, under the authority of the Director of International Relations, aims to promote:

  • Strengthening the international dimension of ESRA's training and research activities
  • Coordination of incoming and outgoing mobility
  • The development of bilateral partnerships and cooperation projects
  • Participation in European and international networks

The DRI also contributes to promoting ESRA abroad by promoting its activities and participating in international trade shows and conferences in conjunction with the communications department.

The DRI develops the institution's international policy in line with its strategic guidelines. It identifies priority geographical areas and areas of cooperation to be developed.

Promotion of international mobility

The DRI organizes and supports international mobility (within and outside Erasmus+):
