To mark the release of Maxime ROY's (ESRA 2010) first feature film "Les Héroïques", presented as a special screening at the Cannes 2021 Film Festival, ESRA students attended a screening of the film in the presence of the director on October 25 at the MK2 Odéon Hautefeuille cinema.
After the short films Beautiful Losernominated at the 2020 César Awards, Sole Mio and Des gens bien nominated for the 2022 César Awards, Maxime ROY (ESRA 2010) tackles feature films with Les Héroïques released on October 20, 2021, which he co-wrote with François CRETON, who also stars in the film.
Following the screening, the students discussed the film's aesthetics with Maxime ROY and two of his producers, the way the film was shot and framed by the director himself, the editing process and the meeting between Maxime ROY and his producers.
