Director Jean-François Richet, an ESRA alumnus, will be shooting for Netflix this summer with an ambitious project: a new adaptation of Notre-Dame de Paris centered on the iconic character Quasimodo.
To play the famous hunchback, Jean-François Richet has called on Vincent Cassel, a key actor in French and international cinema, with whom he had already collaborated on Mesrine, for which they received numerous César nominations. The film promises to be spectacular, combining a historical fresco with a contemporary take on this mythical character.
Jean-François Richet pursued a career marked by popular successes(Mesrine, Blood Father, L'Empereur de Paris...).
