On Tuesday, July 3, 2018, we had the pleasure of hosting a roundtable discussion around the professions of Production and Distribution in the audiovisual and film industries with the theme: How do you "break into" Production and Distribution in the audiovisual and film industries?
Four professionals who graduated from the DHEC Production/Distribution* program in 2016 gave a masterclass for students and the general public: Anthony REBOUL, International Sales Manager at Gaumont TV, Lara BLANCHET, Project Manager at Silenzio Interactive, Charlène ROCK, Production Assistant at BeIN MEDIA GROUP and Manon VASSY, Programming Assistant at MARS FILMS Group.
The former students began the conference by talking about their studies, before going on to talk about their integration after graduation, and more specifically about the theme of the conference How do you "break into production and distribution in the audiovisual and film industries? The content-rich presentation provided an insight into their respective career paths, professions and daily lives, as well as advice on how to progress in Production and Distribution, and ended with an exchange of views with the audience.
