SYNOPSIS:

"My Mother and My Father" tells the story of Gülperi and Hasan, French of Turkish origin, who emigrated from Turkey to France in the 1970s. This film is a tribute to all those people who, one day, had the courage to go elsewhere, in the hope of a better life, just like Gülperi and Hasan; a cross-portrait of two ordinary people on extraordinary journeys.
