July 10: ESRA 3D Sup'Infograph Professional Jury Awards

The professional jury for the ESRA 3D - Sup'infograph 2012 animated films was held yesterday morning in the Salle Jean Renoir, in the presence of 3rd-year students and their guests.

The award for best film went to "A Place in the Sun

Synopsis: In a world of light bulbs, yellow bulbs have no place, and are hunted down by modern white bulbs. One of them is captured and tortured to make her confess where her friend is hiding. Left for dead, dumped in a rubbish dump, her friend comes to rescue her and plugs her into the sun.

"The pirate in a box : A one-legged pirate is stranded on the ice floe, trying to reach a passing ship to escape this frozen hell. To get to the ship, he needs an ice leg, which he tries to get from a penguin trader.

"Fall in love : On a rooftop in the city, a pigeon meets a beautiful female pigeon who can't fly and immediately falls under his spell. During their game of seduction, she stumbles and falls into the void. Her suitor rushes in to try and save her.

At the end of the jury, the meeting between the professionals and the students continued over a drink, giving everyone a chance to chat and get to know each other.
