Jordan KOUBY (ISTS 2006) and Frédéric VECTOL (ISTS 2006) Sound engineers, mixers, directors and founders of the studio QDS were guests at an ISTS masterclass on April 20, hosted by Jean-Christophe BELVAL.
The two sound professionals came to meet ISTS students. Passionate about music and sound, they talked about their career paths and their technical, managerial and relational experience. Based in the 10th arrondissement of Paris since 2011, they conceived and designed their studio themselves in order to master the premises and audio equipment. They love making albums, and have collaborated with many artists, including Imany, Fadda Freddy, Woodkid, Eddy de Pretto, Juliette Armanet and The Babyshambles.
Jordan KOUBY and Frédéric VECTOL are keen to pass on their passion, and regularly employ interns with a view to helping them progress. They have encouraged students to challenge themselves and carry out projects.
