"LES FILLES AU MOYEN AGE" IS THE SECOND FILM DIRECTED BY HUBERT VIEL, ESRA 2003, RELEASED ON JANUARY 27.
This second film, after " Artémis Cœur d'Artichaut" in 2012, directed by Hubert VIEL was released on January 27, 2016. Hubert VIEL stars a monument of the French film landscape, Michael LONSDALE, as well as very young actresses such as Malonn LEVANA, Chann AGLAT and Léana DOUCET. He also called on two other alumni to direct this film, Fabrice DU PELOUX (ESRA 2004) who is cameraman and editor, and Alice DESPLATS (ESRA 2004) who is cinematographer.
"Girls in the Middle Ages" was awarded the Prix du Jury "Deuxième Regard" at the Bordeaux International Independent Film Festival in October 2015.
Synopsis: Lulled by the tale of an erudite old man, children of today find themselves transported to the Middle Ages. The boys are kings, monks and knights. The girls are conquerors, scholars and heroines. In this little-known Middle Ages, they stand up to them and never stop striving for emancipation.
