Gabriel LE BOMIN, director and screenwriter, was the guest on ESRA Thursday, December 10, 2020, to exchange views with ESRA students.
During his military service, Gabriel LE BOMIN joined the armed forces' film department, where he developed a passion for the theme of war, directing a number of documentaries on the subject, notably for France Télévision on major historical conflicts. In 2001, he directed the short film Le Puits , which was selected and awarded at numerous festivals. In 2006, he was nominated for the César for Best First Feature and the Prix Louis Delluc for Les Fragments d'Antonin . He turned to drama in 2009 with Insoupçonnable based on the novel of the same name, starring Laura SMET, Charles BERLING and Marc-André GRONDIN.
In 2020, Gabriel LE BOMIN directed the film De Gaullea biopic about General de Gaulle. The students were able to view the film before the meeting and ask the director questions of a technical nature, as well as more personal ones.
