After reviewing the materials submitted by the school,the RECA Accreditation Committee decided to award its accreditation to ESRA Rennes for a maximum period of five years. This accreditation recognizes the work of the teaching staff and confirms the school’s position as one of the leading Programs s in the field of animated film.
In practical terms, this accreditation reflects a commitment to our day-to-day operations: a practice-oriented curriculum, attentive support for students, and clear information for families—from the initial contact through to career placement.
The RECA Label: A Reliable Guide for Career Planning
Founded in 2012,RECA (Network of French Animation Film Schools)is a nonprofit organization under the French Law of 1901 recognized as serving the public interest. It brings together some thirty French animation schools and more than seventy Programs, with a central mission: to provide clarity on the sector’s educational offerings and to foster dialogue between schools and professionals.
The RECA Label is supported by theNational Center for Cinema and the Moving Image (CNC)as well as by the sector’s leading professional associations, including the Union of Animated Film Producers (SPFA) and the Federation of the Film, Audiovisual, and Multimedia Industries (FICAM).
