In association with the Héliotrope Association, ESRA CÔTE D'AZUR will be partnering the 16th Nice European Short Film Festival "Un festival c'est trop court" from October 14 to 21, 2016.
To mark the occasion, 3rd year Television Production and Editing students will produce a daily video diary of the event.
2 films by former ESRA students are in competition:
- In the European competition: "Boniek et Platini" by Jérémie LAURENT (ESRA 2007)
- In the Court d'Ici competition: "Le Chant des Fauves", Benjamin BORDERIE's graduation film (ESRA 2016)
A Masterclass is scheduled with Karim DRIDI, director of "Chouf", in association with the Héliotrope association and ESRA, on Wednesday October 19 at 4pm at the Théâtre de Nice.
In addition to his favorite themes and his relationship with the city of Nice, the masterclass will address the question of directing actors, particularly non-professional actors.
Finally, ESRA will present the European Competition prize and the Student prize.
