During the PLUG Festival on September 13 and 14, twoESRA Côte d'Azur students received awards at the Musée d'Art Moderne de Nice (MAMAC).
Loris BUONOMANO, 3rd year student in the cinema section(ESRA), won the Screenplay Prize for his film Pâmer là at the PLUG Festival, an event dedicated to smartphone cinema and digital innovations, particularly virtual reality. Fabien BACQUET (ISTS 2019) was chief sound operator on the Grand Prix-winning film Submerged.
Finally, Guillaume RENUSSON (DHEC 2013), director ofUne minute de silence, winner of the Mobile Film Festival in 2013 and currently working on his first feature film, which he will shoot partly in Nice, led a discussion on "From smartphone film to feature film".
For two days, screenings, meetings and a masterclass with Jan KOUNEN followed one another. Out of a total of over fifty short films submitted in response to the call for projects launched during the summer, eight made up the official selection.
