We were privileged to welcome Denis Lavant, a complete artist and an emblematic figure of French cinema and theater, as part of the " Jeudis de l'ESRA " program. An actor with an exceptional career, Denis Lavant is also a musician, and his multi-faceted talent has left its mark on generations of spectators and professionals alike. In 2013, he was nominated for a César for Best Actor for his unforgettable performance in Léos Carax's Holy Motors. His many legendary collaborations also include the legendary Les Amants du Pont-Neuf.

During the meeting, students had the opportunity to view Boy Meets Girl, one of Léos Carax's first films, in which Denis Lavant gives a masterful performance. The screening was followed by an enriching exchange between the artist and the students, who were able to ask questions and explore with him the behind-the-scenes aspects of the film, his approach to acting and his artistic collaborations.
