The 2026 César Awards ceremony was a source of immense pride for ESRA. Several of the school's former students shone at this major celebration of French cinema, confirming the excellence and creativity of the talents produced by our training program.

Carine Tardieu crowned at the 2026 César Awards

Carine Tardieu (ESRA 1997) won the César Award for Best Adaptation and the César Award for Best Film for L’Attachement.

This double award recognizes a strong, sensitive, and deeply human artistic vision. It is a major accolade that highlights the artistic and narrative quality of his work.

His career illustrates the ability of ESRA graduates to establish themselves in the film industry for the long term.

  • Guillaume Marbeck (ESRA 2015), nominated for the César Award for Most Promising Actor for Nouvelle Vague
  • Damien Lazzerini (ESRA 2000), nominated for the César Award for Best Sound for Arco
