Carine TARDIEU's (ESRA 1997) next film Les Jeunes Amants stars Fanny ARDANT, Melvil POUPAUD and Cécile DE FRANCE and opens in cinemas on February 2.

Carine TARDIEU began her career as an assistant director on films and TV movies, including Olivier DUCASTEL and Jacques MARTINEAU's Jeanne et le Garçon Formidable, before becoming a scriptwriter for television, notably for the series Âge sensible. She went on to direct two short films, Les Baisers des autres and L'Aîné de mes soucis, which won the Audience Award at the Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival. Carine TARDIEU was spotted by producer Christophe ROSSIGNON, who produced her first feature film in 2007, La Tête de maman, co-written with Michel LECLERC. She then adapted Raphaële MOUSSAFIR's novel Du vent dans mes mollets. Carine TARDIEU worked again with Raphaële MOUSSAFIR and Michel LECLERC to co-write the film Ôtez-moi d'un doute, released in 2017.

ESRA alumni worked with Carine TARDIEU on Les Jeunes Amants: Julien D'ESPOSITO (ISTS 1999) additional sound recordist, Damien BONDUEL (ESRA 2013) production assistant, Audrey KLEINCLAUS (ESRA 1998) post-production manager.
