Cannes selection for La Voie Lactée, a production company created by 3 ESRA alumni

La Voie Lactée was founded in 2005 by Nathalie ALGAZI (ESRA 2003), Marie-Sonne JENSEN (ESRA 2002) and François DROUOT (ESRA 1999). La Voie Lactée has produced various French films and European co-productions, and to date has developed a documentary, three feature-length films and some fifteen short films, including Dead Barter (2017) and A tous les vents du ciel (2015).

Most recently, the company co-produced the film Sauvage by Camille Vidal-Naquet, produced by Les Films de la Croisade and selected for this year's Cannes Film Festival. The film will be presented at the Semaine Internationale de la Critique.

Film synopsis: Léo, 22, sells himself on the street for a little money. Men come and go. He just stands there, looking for love. He doesn't know what tomorrow will bring. He takes to the streets. His heart beats fast.
