The students had been looking forward to it for weeks. Thibault GAURIAU (ESRA Animation 2006), FX Lead at Industrial Light & Magic Singapore alongside George LUCAS, came specially from Singapore to spend a week in France with ESRA students, as part of 3 Masterclasses scheduled in Paris, Nice and Rennes.
Expert in VFX, Thibault GAURIAU has contributed to major productions as Lead FX on Ready Player One by Steven SPIELBERG, Rogue One: A Star Wars story by Gareth EDWARDS (II), Senior FX on Transformers: Age of Extinction or Digital artist on Pacific Rim by Guillermo DEL TORO...

The enthusiasm for Thibault GAURIAU's visit was just as great as his departure left a great void, but everyone promised to meet up again soon, perhaps in July for the Professional Juries... goodbye artist and thanks again!
