To mark the end of the school year, students gathered at the New Morning on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, as part of ESRA Sound Night, an event organized by the ESRA Group.
The whole team was delighted to welcome back Louis FRONZE, formerly of ISTS and now stage manager at Le New Morning.
Group students, alumni and international guests all gathered at 8pm for the first part of the evening with DJ Dente, Quentin JOUBERT (ISTS 2018), before welcoming the 13-strong Metaphump music group.
Created by two former ISTS, Arthur LANTER (ISTS 2014) now band manager and Léonard PIACENTINO (ISTS 2015) saxophonist arranger. Other musicians include Mathieu ALY-BERIL on alto saxophone, Robin NITRAM on guitar, Timothée GRENEZ on drums, Benjamin AUBRY on tenor saxophone, Thomas MESTRES on trumpet, Louis HAYNES on bass, Anetta MOROZOVA on backing vocals and flute Traversière, Martin GILLOIRE on trombone, Cyprien DELAYE on keyboards.
Students from the ESRA Réalisation Télévision section; Amanda ARVINTE (ESRA 2018), Eurielle BOSLOWSKY (ESRA 2018), Charline DUHAMEL (ESRA 2018) and Mickaël MAALAOUI (ESRA 2018) filmed the concerts and conducted several interviews, including one with Metaphump, the film crews and David AZOULAY, Managing Director of the ESRA Group. ISTS students Gabriel BONNET (ISTS 2018), Louise METAIS (ISTS 2018) and Simon PONSIN (ISTS 2019) were also on hand as sound engineers for the entire evening.
