Anne LE NY is a graduate of the Conservatoire. She spent a great deal of time on stage before embarking on a successful film career, mainly in supporting roles.
So it was only natural that she should talk to the ESRA students in the lecture hall about the actor's work. But she has also worked behind the camera in recent years, penning four feature films. This is her second, " Les Invités de mon père which was screened prior to her arrival, an often cruel, sometimes emotionally charged comedy reminiscent of the great hours of Italian comedy. Anne then talked about writing, and her collaboration with Luc BERAUD on the film's script, before confiding that she felt at ease on the set, naturally returning to her work with the actors, and in particular to the way she managed Karin VIARD and Fabrice LUCHINI.
